Students Create Posters Detailing the Risks of Using Tobacco in Observance of World No Tobacco Day


The St. Anthony’s Secondary School is doing their part in educating their students on the harmful effects of Tobacco use.

The senior students at the school, in observance of World No Tobacco Day on May 31st, created posters detailing the risks of using tobacco and tobacco products.

Members of the planning committee for the Antigua and Barbuda Tobacco Free Initiative, Monifa St. John and Jason Percival visited the school and spoke with the children.

In addition, the children were dressed in their PAHO sponsored T-Shirts.

World No Tobacco Day was observed under the theme #CommitToQuit
