  1. Oh Lord…here we go again. Something terrible is always happening in this country. This government pays no regard to the maintenance and upkeep of sporting facilities. What aren’t you people convinced that this government needs to go?

  2. Playground injuries account for some of the worst injuries to children yearly. Injuries at school from contact sports sends children to hospitals with fractured bones, dislocations, brushes and contusions. It is not very often that we hear of such unfortunate mishap such as this resulting in the regrettable death of a youngster. We all grieve with his parents, colleagues and the wider school family at this awful tragedy. May God bring comfort to all during this difficult period.
I remembered a number of years ago when a friend lost his child in a similar mishap at the playground at Buckley’s School.

  3. Kind of a freak accident that could have easily been avoided.
Why wasn’t that post anchored properly or have safety weights behind ?
    Why ? why ?
MY condolences to his family, so sad.
