REAL NEWS: A fight involving students, at the East Bus Station Terminal, has resulted in a 14-year-old boy being injured in the head with a stone.

Reports say the victim, a resident of The Point, was on school bus No. 4 when a fight broke out among other students outside the vehicle.

It is alleged that one of the fighters threw a stone, which went through the school bus window and hit the teenager in his forehead, resulting in a small wound.

This incident, which occurred at about 2 p.m. on September 20, was reported to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) by an Ottos resident, and investigations are now underway.

  1. Police need to be deployed all over St.John’s after school and perpetrators arrested and taken to family court. We need laws against cell phone use also. The young people actually encourage these fights to record and post.

  2. These perpetrators along with their parents need to be seiously dealt with. When the youngsters are been caught in the act, they need to be given community services such as cutting grass to do & the parents, who just might be innocent of the offence, pay a fine.
