Stolen Goods Recovered: Villa Home Burglary Investigation Leads to Surprising Find

The authorities have recovered a collection of stolen items suspected to have been taken from a residence in Villa.

According to reports, a man residing on Bennett Street in Villa contacted the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to report a break-in at his home.

The incident occurred between 4 a.m. and 3:35 p.m. on Monday, May 22.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered that the perpetrators had removed three glass louvre panes from a bedroom window on the eastern side of the house.

They gained entry and proceeded to steal a Samsung 32-inch flat screen television from one of the bedrooms, as well as an Oster kettle, a blender, and a black transformer from the kitchen. The intruders exited the premises through an eastern door.

Subsequently, the police received information regarding the burglary and theft and took action at Bay Street in Villa. They located the stolen items in an abandoned house occupied by a man and a woman.

The recovered items were then confiscated and transported to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for further investigation.
