@Wash an’ Basin…I am one of those who is for the development of the Nation, to include housing of course(food, shelter, clothing) the basics of HUEman existence dictates this.
However, if we’re gonna become the “Economic Powerhouse,” by empowering the local entrepreneurs, #Mixed-Use Developments MUST be included in the long term term developmental designs and planning. Example a modern day St. John’s. Condominium styles lare very attractive to the younger purchasers and retirees. These are more sustainable in terms of water storages, recycling, green spaces and most of all convenience in terms of shopping, security, social gatherings etc.
More thought needs to go into development of sustainable and empowering communities.
After almost ten years it is now they find money to build houses on the eve of the election? Antiguan people, don’t be bribed. Buy the houses and still vote them out.
