
The St Paul’s community is mourning the sudden death of Stanley “Abbott” Warner, a longstanding political organiser and community figure.
Mr Warner, who served as chairman of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party’s St Paul Constituency Branch, has been widely remembered as a dedicated and dependable presence in both party and community affairs.
Tributes have been paid by colleagues and residents, with We The People (WTP) Management and Staff describing his passing as a profound shock. In a statement, the group said many had been working alongside him as recently as the night before his death.
Those who knew Mr Warner described him as a quiet but committed worker, respected for his role in political organising and community engagement.
WTP praised his contribution as one of the “quiet engines of progress” within the constituency, highlighting his reliability and service.
