In the face of a spike in crimes committed by young offenders in Antigua & Barbuda, one hundred and fifty three 2022 CSEC top performers were recognized in an extraordinary ceremony on June 15th in St. John’s, demonstrating that there are many committed and disciplined young people in Antigua & Barbuda who are focused on excellence, self-improvement and discipline.
The Ministry of Education, Sport and Creative Industries alongside long standing title sponsor ACB Caribbean rolled out the red carpet for these high achievers at the Annual CSEC Awards yesterday in St. John’s.
The top performer was Chidindu Ohaegbulam of St. Joseph’s Academy who achieved 22 Grade 1s, and 1 Grade 2 for a total of 23 subjects.
In second place was Baptist Academy’s Zion Williams with 17 Grade 1s , and in third position, Ghais Zraibi of St Joseph’s Academy with passes in 21 subjects, 13 of which were Grade 1.
