A Tindale Road resident is now battling for his life in the Intensive Care Unit at Mount St. John’s Medical Center, two days before his 24th birthday.

 

Shaquille Joseph a National Solid Waste Management Authority worker was stabbed multiple times in his chest and back Thursday morning, allegedly by a co-worker.

 

A family member told state media that Joseph suffered a punctured heart and diaphragm from two of the stab wounds.

 

The incident occurred after a dispute developed between the two men in the Golden Grove area while they were on the job.

 

Joseph’s coworker is assisting with investigations.

 

The family member says the 23 year old is in need of O-positive blood urgently.

  1. Disagreement or not disagreement, argument or not argument, where does all of this violent behaviour come from??? We need to ask ourselves as a society, why so much physical violence going on here?????

    • Violence has always been around, and human beings are flawed. It’s a shame but clearly it’s a part of life just like breathing air. You’re part of society, so why do you believe it happens often and do you have a solution or will you just ask questions on a forum for 10 people to read? Hopefully the young man pulls through.
