  1. The joke continues every year.

Austin Josiah and Wigley George were honoured?

    One big dutty trupz.

Ask the workers of the hotel chain where Austin Josiah advised (not sure if he still does) the management of the said hotel chain on labour issues, what they think about Austin Josiah and you will a true barometer of him.

Wigley George? You na haffu go far. Just ask ten non-established workers about him and you will see.

The circus really came to town today.

  2. Not to put a damper on these “UK Monarchy” awards interfering with Antigua & Barbuda’s celebrations of independence day; but I thought we were moving towards a more “Independent” type of country?

One that’s a more strident country that would eventually lead us to a Republic without any outside influences these meaningless name tags and silly trinkets, that set-the-seel-on and corroborates elitism and Kowtowing continues, unabashed and unabated; and Antiguans not allowed to question why we should continue with this nonsensical relic from colonialism, when it is so obvious that it has no financial or commercial benefit for the citizens of Antigua in this day and age?!

Our Prime Minister talks about change and stepping away from UK rules and regulations, however, his course of actions just doesn’t match-up to his long-winded rhetoric!

  3. Why you attacking Austin Josiah the man hadeed recieved his third award ask them why and leave Austin Josiah and thanks.

  4. This Hadeed Family have come a very, very, long way in Antigua.I remembered when those guys came into Antigua. They would walk around and sell their wares. They would also trust(credit) their goods to those in the lesser financial areas around Antigua. Then they were driving cars doing that same business. Then they opened a Garment Factory on Old Parham Road. Some years later, they became the dealership for Datsun Motors now known as Nissan Motors in that same area as the Garment Factory. If they were able to do it in Antigua. Why born Antiguans cannot follow the lead of the Hadeeds and be successful. Is it because our Leaders do not have the foresight and encouragements to help us to be successful. Is it because they would prefer to keep us poor and begging. So the we would have to depend on them for handouts. Congratulations to you Sir Ramez Hadeed.

  5. What de a** is this? De circus masters really serious?
Hear ye…Hear ye…Princely?…Knight?…Commander? People catching hell in dis island! We need to stop this shit! It is 2022!
    ‘Nuf said!

  6. David Harrison couldn’t get no knighthood in his own country then. You can be sure he will be calling himself “Sir David” back in UK even though that is completely wrong. And they say money can’t buy you happiness hahahahaha
