Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment Sir Molwyn Joseph continues to advocate for Health and Wellness in Antigua and Barbuda.

In keeping with his Wellness portfolio, Sir Molwyn has donated sporting equipment to 17-year-old D’ahri Francis.

Sir Molwyn stated that during his years as a teen growing up in Jennings and playing Cricket, he did not get the opportunity to have sporting equipment to help him excel at the sport.

The Minister expressed his delight in being able to donate the items to Francis, who he says will be a member of the West Indies team one day.

He donated three cricket bats, four pairs of batting gloves, batting pads, thigh guards, cricket bag, helmet with neck guard, two professional wicket keeper gloves, four wicket keeper inners, two abdominal guards, wicket keeper pads, two spike shoes, arm guard test and chest pads.

In response, Francis thanked Sir Molwyn for this timely donation for which he is very grateful.

  1. Way to go Sir Molwyn! Young man pleased stay focused on your goals and dreams. Looking forward to hearing your name on the West Indies squad in due time

  2. Knighthood in Antigua doesn’t mean shit. Mole_Wyn knighted for a position he’s been paid to do and he doesn’t even do a good job at it.

Where are the murderers of Nigel Christian and Andrea Hughes?

    • What was Vivian Richards knighted for? Didn’t he get PAID to play cricket for West Indies? Same goes for Sir Curtly Ambrose, Richie Richardson and Andy Roberts.
