Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) has further suspended today a cadre of outpatient clinic services due to inclement weather.
These include Oncology, Dialysis, and Rehabilitation. Laboratory testing services and Radiology have also been halted.
Elective surgeries scheduled for Tuesday October 3, 2023 are also postponed.
Emergency in-patient Radiology and Laboratory services will continue, however.
The SLBMC team reports its Emergency Room will remain open but advises those seeking medical attention not to risk the conditions on the roadways bit to call the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at 911, instead.
