Murderers in the making, If you can be cruel to an animal you will do the same to a human being. I live in Golden Grove and see these guys often. They look crude, I spoke to them already but they need love and direction

Children do as they see, not as they are told. Adults in Antigua and Barbuda are currently the worst set of role models our children have had since Emancipation. We peddle hate, lies, deceit, disrespect, shallow values , immorality, beastiality, paganism to name a few. What then can we expect of the children?

I am amazed how you people are quick to bring in the tourism argument when an animal or a person get killed. Get over it people the travelling public by and large are not sensitive to you folks sensational thinking. Barbados for instance has so many murders for 2025 you think that has dampened demand for their tourism product?

Most people in Antigua see the abuse to animals (Horse, Donkey, Dogs) EXCEPT THE POLICE. This always baffle me.

I will see some boys abusing donkeys (in Yorks for example); I will see them riding horses to death (I sometimes have to take the animal from them and call some horse-owners I know to see if it is their animal) AND SOMETIMES I WONDER IF THE POLICE HAVE CATERACT ON THEIR EYS.

Somebody point me to a conviction of anyone having to do with cruelty to animals.

I have made reports to the police about possible dog fighting and not a drum was heard.

Some of those persons who take in animals sometimes want to help but because the dogs are fighters they do not want them around their animals and you talk to the government vet and it is some kind of bullshit.

This is what our society has become. This is the reality in this country. Welcome to the real Antigua & Barbuda (and not the crockpot some politicians talk about).

I have the horse it was my horse that some boys stole but I got it back
that particular horse is sick thay did not know that but I got it back from them it is in good hands now it is eating and drinking food and water fine these boys were not informed that the horse was sick so thay should not be punished for not being informed

@horse farmer, there is no excuse for animal cruelty. In case you are not aware horse theft and cruelty are crimes and the boys should be charged accordingly. The rope around this poor animal’s neck certainly looks as though it is so tight it is choking the animal. The horse looks to be in very bad condition.
The boys absolutely need to be punished and perhaps being beaten with a rope that is tied in a choke hold around their necks might give them something to think about in their future.
