The man who reportedly opened fire on his uncle during a dispute in St. Johnson’s Village last week was remanded to prison today.

Shaquille Joseph was charged with shooting with intent to murder as well as unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

According to reports, the defendant became irate after his uncle told him to remove a bucket and tub from beside his fence.

The man told police Joseph took a handgun from under his house and fired shots at him before running off.

The uncle was not injured, and police reportedly recovered three spent shells from the scene.

The defendant was later apprehended in Ovals Village.
