On day two of Toby “Seeka” Benjamin’s murder trial in the High Court, a woman testified she saw the accused in the victim’s backyard on the morning of the incident.
A day earlier, another woman, who said she had a child with the accused man, said he showed her a gun the month before the shooting.
The woman also said she saw blood on a pants and shirt when she visited Benjamin’s home the day after the incident.
Benjamin is on trial for the shooting death of Charles “Bush” Hughes, 37 of Cashew Hill.
Hughes’ mother testified she discovered his lifeless body at the family home on February 11, 2014.
