REAL NEWS: An officer with Special Security Services was almost made a victim of a knife attack by an unknown man.

Reports say the security guard, who is attached to the Everyday Service Station, contacted the Criminal Investigations Department and complained that a customer had been assaulted with a knife by an unknown man.

The offence reportedly occurred at about 9 p.m., a few days ago, at the Independence Drive business.

Apparently the security guard had observed a silver Toyota Vitz pulling up onto the service station compound in a suspicious manner.

Accordingly, he took a photo of the vehicle – which caused the driver to exit the car, brandishing a switchblade knife.

Further reports say the unknown man pointed the weapon at the security guard and asked why he had taken a photo of the vehicle.

The victim reportedly told the Police that he walked away from the confrontation and the alleged offender began to follow him.

At that point, the guard was then forced to draw his work-issued firearm, which reportedly resulting in the alleged offender getting back into his vehicle and driving off.

A search was carried out for that person, but without success.

  1. Why didn’t the security guard shoot him to incapacitate him and then call the police. I know if it was me, he would have one nut short!!!

  2. Why didn’t security since he pulled out his gun and perpetrator had a knife, just shoot him in the leg or blow out his car tire. Now this thug is still on the loose looking for his next victim. Guess this too is under investigation. Chups. Hopefully he took a picture of driver plus license plate ###.

  3. @Harry…that is almost what I would have done as well! Not the nuts, though tempting…too much blood!
I would calmly say to him…”You bring a knife…I have a gun…gun trumps knife, you jackass!” Then I would blow away both kneecaps! He ent go run or drive dat Vitz nowhere.
Let the dumb shit explain to police why he pull a knife on me while I on duty.

  4. You think a so gun go, to be judge and executioner? Any license holder shoot someone is hd as a criminal at police station untkl complete investigation. Plus am sure its a foreigner security guard and a reaction publicly would be coming on how them can just give jamaican, spanish or guyanese gun just so.

  5. I AM A LICENSE GUN OWNER.I HAVE A CONCEALED CARRY LICENSE.IF I PULLED MY GUN IT WOULD BE TO FIRE.IF THE SITUATION WARRANTS YOU TO PULL,YOU MUST FIRE.

  6. A gun is some serious responsibility. You
have to be sure to pull that trigger. At the same time we should draw only when we are prepared to shoot. It does not necessarily mean that once we draw we must shoot.
The actions of the driver to me, appears to not be normal. I mean would a right thinking person pull a knife on someone with a gun on there hip. Had that guard shoot and killed that man, and had it turn out that man was troubled, we all will be busing the security guard and his company and the Gas Station. So much so that the backlash may cause them to loose business.
He could of been a hero, or he could of been seen as a villain.
So, vehicle pull in. Guard perceive something suspicious and took a pic. Driver gets out and pulls a knife. Guard perceive threat to his self, he pulls his gun. Man backs off. There is no longer any threat to himself or the Gas station, and the driver has no property for the gas station, so he allows the driver to leave.
Police has been called in to do the rest. The car and driver has been recorded.
Persons keep saying That we should only pull our gun when we are going to shoot. Wrong. We should only pull our gun when we are willing and prepared to shoot.
Legally, the guard would have been cleared had he shot and killed that man. But in terms or ethics and morals, do I really have to shoot this punk? Nah. Police go deal with he.

  7. Anyone who approaches me with a knife in an aggressive manner.I pull and fire, end of the story. It is called self defense under the law.Are you going to wait and see if he stabs you first and then react?
