The Liberta Community Clinic is now equipped with an electronic security system in response to several break-ins at the medical facility.
“Since our security system has been installed, we have had no break-ins to date. Everything is hooked up to the police system also too so if there is any issue we are called or the police is called, so we have not had any break-in and so on”, District Nurse, Joyan Quinn told state media.
The latest incident of burglary occurred at the facility in late March.
At the time, the thieves reportedly made off with all of the health facility’s hand sanitisers.
Cleaning supplies and drinks from the refrigerator were also reported stolen.
