Second set of kits sent to St Vincent and the Grenadines

The National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) has completed the process of transporting 400 dignity kits to St. Vincent and the Grenadines on behalf of the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

The dignity kits include a set of toiletries like lotion, soap, toothpaste etc. along with items like underwear, comb, mirror, toothbrush among other things.

The Regional Security System (RSS) aircraft transported the first 200 kits on Friday while the other 200 left the island on Monday.

This is to ensure that the items are on hand if the residents were to be impacted by the active volcano there.

The National Office of Disaster Services has been storing the kits on behalf of CDEMA and UNFPA.

  1. As we progress through the year, 2021…. we need to keep a keen eye on the climate issues. Climate change will be a MAJOR FACTOR… especially for the new administration in the USA (white house). We may think very little of this issue, but what is at stake is very important.
World leaders will increasingly come together to implement new regulations to tackle the whole climate issue. This will have serious impact on the lifestyles of people in the entire world.
The whole issue will be pushed at all levels: social, economical, political and religious. This is just one issue that can bring international foes to work together for the supposedly good of our planet.
The world will see this as a much needed strategic plan to better deal with all the negative effects of climatic changes. However, there is a very subtle and sinister motive behind the whole climate change issue.
Keep your eye on the movements of such people as : Greta Thunberg, John Kerry, Pope Francis and others.
The push will be relentless to bring about major global policies implementations to effect the better climate patterns for our planet.
