School girl injured in West Bus Station stabbing

A girl from the Ottos Comprehensive School was stabbed earlier today during a brawl that involved three girls.

The fracas occurred at the West Bus Station and according to a vendor, a sharp object was used to inflict the wound.

The girl was stabbed twice and taken to Mount St. John’s Medical Center by ambulance.

The eye witness told Antigua News Room, that the two other girls were from the All Saints and Pares Secondary Schools.

It is not certain what led to the violent confrontation but lawmen intervened to prevent further conflict.

Police are investigating the matter.

The stab wounds are said to be serous but non-life threatening.
