As the Department of Youth Affairs (DoYA)continues on its thrust to promote literacy among the youth of Antigua & Barbuda, the Sandals Foundation has given a helping hand. The foundation donated school supplies on Friday which the students will need for the programme.  DoYA launched its Literacy Programme in 2016 with an aim of addressing challenges of illiteracy among youngsters on the island. The programme welcomes both primary and secondary school students. Classes are being held once per week and have been virtual since April.  Some of the students who are currently enrolled in the programme are pictured  with their parents.
