The philanthropic arm of Sandals Resorts International – Sandals Foundation made a donation of food supplies to the Saint Vincent De Paul Elderly Daycare Thursday morning.
This after the daycare that was closed to the Covid-19 pandemic recently re-opened its doors just over a month ago.
The food items donated to the home included canned meat, soups, milk, rice, beans and toilet paper that was contributed by team members at the Resort.
Sandals Public Relations Manager said, “We are especially happy to make this donation now as the daycare is now getting back up on its feet. In these times we know how hard it is for small businesses and organizations to adjust and maintain their operations and operational cost and we are happy that we could make it a little easier for this elderly daycare facility.”
Coordinator of the Daycare Renee Gomes said, “We are extremely grateful for the contributions of your team members through the Foundation, and we are looking forward to you continued support in the future.
