The Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa has told trade unions of their intention to reopen at the end of November.
This follows meeting with the Directors and union representatives on the future of the hotel’s 500 employees.
It is unclear how many of those that were laid off will return to the hotel when it reopens.
The Resort was forced to close after countries around the world went into lockdown and closed their borders, implementing travel restrictions due to the spread of Covid -19.
The Royalton Resort and Spa began operations in Antigua and Barbuda on 1st May 2019 after significant renovations were done at the property once known as the Royal Antiguan.
