The Rotary Club of Antigua (RCA) wishes to advise the general public, that it’s annual “Colours Fete Fundraiser”, is cancelled.
2020 would have been the 14 th Edition of this charitable event, which was scheduled to take place on July 4 th , under the theme “Colours-Fire and Ice -the 4 th of July Edition”.
The Organizing Committee made the inevitable decision as a result of the global health threat associated with the COVID-19. This pandemic has severely affected social and economic activity in Antigua and Barbuda and has also resulted in the cancellation of the annual Carnival celebrations.
The proceeds from the annual fundraiser are used to finance a number of our community projects to include its monthly “Meals on Wheels initiative”. Through this programme, the Club provides food packages to 100 vulnerable individuals and families across the island.
The Club also executes projects in the areas of health, education and youth development.
The members of the Rotary Club of Antigua wish to thank the public, corporate partners and other stakeholders for their continued support and commitment to the cause of Rotary locally and internationally.
The Rotary of Club will continue to play a pivotal role in nation building through its’ philanthropic efforts.
