They better finish the whole road by election day
Though it might be a private road can someone please tell me how is it that they built that new concrete road on Lauchland Benjamin drive that leads up to the new medical complex with a utility pole in the road itself.
Actually, don’t answer my question above. I am stupid.
Again without fulfilling the mandate from the last election, the Gaston Browne administration has called an election seeking a new mandate. So no sense publish a new manifesto, since you have not fulfilled the one from 2023. With just 3 weeks to election less then half the electorate have their votes ID. So both the electorate and the electoral commission are in chaos. So painting this people centered movement is far from genuine.
The government continues to owe contractors and suppliers. You show no respect to local business owners you owe. Yet here you go again bringing in Artists and paying them large amounts of money. Have you paid all the local artists for past carnivals.
The amount spent on billboards alone is ridiculous. So I am calling on the government to pay the local contractors. What your administration has been doing to supplies of goods and services is financial abuse. As a result families are suffering, they are losing their businesses and are afraid to speak up. I guess they will have their say at the ballot.
The last election you did not see it coming. The polls do lie. The top US polls had Donald Trump behind and the electorate voted differently. Trust me lots of voters are showing a straight face and they will not be voting in your favor.
The UPP seems to be pulling itself together. If they had done this all along we would not be facing a general election at this time. So I guess I will might have to go back on what I said- that they could win a few seats. These candidates have a chance- Pringle, Lewis , Jonathan Joseph, Harold Lovell , Suggy and Of course Trevor Walker will definitely return Barbuda seat. One or two upset and trouble is in the making.
King good work . No sencd digging up a well compacted surface in All Saints road. Just a few spots here and there will need a little more attention. I have been saying this to my friends for years. Just scarify mostly and resurface and you are good to go. I can bet my last dollar that this will outlast factory road, Ffrys Hill or Oil refinery road and Sir George Walter of airport road. See that big accident recently on Pares road, I blame it partly on the contractor. Day in day out the hold up the traffic for the past two years. I think the government, including the police should take control of how , and what time of the day this contractor can just decide to block off factory or Pares road. Do have being doing this during peak time, during festivals , independence and cricket matches at the stadium. During rush hour- causing people much different getting to work, to appointments, catching flights etc in time.
Calling on the police traffic department / commissioner of police to do something about this. I am sure we all can agree that this being going on far too long.
@Frankly speaking you’re on to something. The saying around town is DAVID SLEW GOLIATH.
This election will be decided by young educated Antiguans & Barbudans who are sick and tired of been made fools of.
You missed St. Phillip’s South. Freetown people are independent and resilient like Old Road and Barbuda people and the majority will not vote for ABLP.
Freeland cannot be trusted, as he’s just another hand picked ABLP PREVILEDGE member, so St. George’s will be returned to UPP.
A great outcome could be 8 UPP Wins – 8 ABLP Wins and TREVOR WALKER and the BPM gets the chance to reorganize Barbuda with TREVOR WALKER & the BPM becoming the POWEEHOUSE in the Parliament.
The truth is stranger and stronger than fiction.
