Fire Chief Elvis Weaver is urging roadside food stall operators to have a fire extinguisher in their possession.
Weaver says the same should apply to homes as well as businesses since it can help to stop a fire before it spreads and rages out of control.
He says this equipment can help to minimize the extent of damage that a fire is likely to cause.
Last month saw a spike in the number of fires that officials responded to across all districts.

i am in full agreement with persons having Fire Extinguishers where necessary, just in case there is a incident. Having one yes can save life and property.
However, this man needs an extinguisher to extinquish the bad-minded, vindictive, selfish and wickedness from his mind and be a leader in the true sense of leadership. He must remember that what one sows that is what one will reap. He is NOT a leader.
