The brewing of beer in Antigua and Barbuda is drawing closer as the three partners involved have moved to a more clearly agreed contractual arrangements among themselves. CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATS APP GROUP

The Antigua Distillery Limited will be the major shareholder controlling 60% of the shares at Crabbs.

Brewtech a German firm whose expertise in brewing beer is well established will own 15%; and, NAMCO will claim the remaining shares.

The lease of the Crabbs Brewery will count as NAMCO’s contribution.

The first bottles of beer will likely be brewed for consumption by Carnival 2023.

  2. Well hopefully the project will gel. We can get English Harbour rum here in the deranged states of america and I must say that it’s wonderful!

  3. Let’s not make any more announcements until this project is completed and has become a reality. Asot is not there any longer to demand his piece of the cake like with Peter Verdee.

  4. Antigua and Barbuda cannot have a Brewery under UPP and Harold Lovell policies. Facts.
    That’s why we lost Antigua Brewery in upp’s time and it will happen if they are re-elected

    • Pity that this was made into a political thing. Is that all social and economical matters reduced to? Which government can or can’t do things?
