RIP
I am saddened to learn of the death of Dr. Lester Emmanuel. He was a humble fountain of wisdom, a dynamic man and an inspiration to so many. I am yet to meet a more ethical, professional and independent minded person like Dr. Emmanuel. I will forever miss his candid guidance. We have lost a man who embodied all that Antigua and Barbuda deeply yearns for, namely, common decency, compassion, meritocracy, love, humility and fairness. I am torn between the truth that he is now resting and the reality of his absence. He leaves behind an amazing legacy on the numerous people whose life he touched in a remarkable way.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to his dear wife and his children and to the entire Pentecostal family.
