Residents of All Saints West have publicly expressed appreciation for the work of their parliamentary representative, Anthony Smith Jr., citing infrastructure upgrades, accessibility, and steady engagement with constituents as key highlights over the past year.
In a year-end message issued on behalf of the constituency, residents said visible efforts had been made to improve daily life in communities that had long awaited development.
They pointed in particular to the construction of durable concrete roads, describing the upgrades as a major improvement to connectivity and overall quality of life.
The statement said ongoing work to address long-standing challenges across the constituency reflected a practical and responsive approach to governance, adding that Smith had remained consistent in delivering on commitments made to residents.
Constituents also highlighted the regular operation of the All Saints West constituency office, noting that weekly availability for engagement had strengthened dialogue and allowed residents to raise concerns, share ideas, and participate more directly in the representative process.
At the national level, residents referenced the renewed prominence of the Antigua Black Pineapple, describing it as a source of pride and a symbol of the country’s agricultural heritage that is once again contributing to economic growth and national identity.
The message also extended New Year wishes to Smith’s wife and three daughters, acknowledging the role of family support in sustaining public service.

The residents said they were entering the new year with optimism and confidence, expressing continued support for Smith’s leadership and a shared commitment to progress in All Saints West and Antigua and Barbuda as a whole.
Here is the full message:
As the year draws to a close and we look ahead with renewed purpose, we, the people of All Saints West, take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to The Hon. Anthony Smith Jr. for his continued service and leadership.
Throughout the past year, there have been deliberate and visible efforts to advance the wellbeing of our constituency, and country as a whole.
Improvements to infrastructure, including the construction of durable concrete roads in communities where such development had long been absent, have enhanced daily life and connectivity for many residents. At the same time, ongoing work to address persistent challenges across the constituency reflects a commitment to progress that is both practical and responsive. You always keep your promises.
Equally important has been the emphasis on accessibility and dialogue. The consistent availability of the constituency office for weekly engagement has reinforced a culture of openness, allowing residents to share concerns, contribute ideas, and participate meaningfully in the process of representation.
On the national stage, the renewed prominence of the Antigua Black Pineapple stands as a point of collective pride — a symbol of our agricultural heritage, quality, and resilience, now once again positioned as a valued contributor to economic growth and national identity.
We also extend warm New Year wishes to Hon. Anthony Smith Jr.’s wife and three daughters, acknowledging the vital support of family in sustaining public service and leadership.
Hon. Smith, we thank you for your continued dedication to All Saints West and for your efforts on behalf of the people you serve. As we enter the New Year, we do so with optimism, confidence, and a shared commitment to continued progress.
May the year ahead bring clarity of purpose, steady advancement, and prosperity to All Saints West and to Antigua and Barbuda.
With appreciation,
— The People of All Saints West 🇦🇬

If true, where aren’t there a number of quotations from the residents of All Saints West?
Look, if free food and drinks are available people will always turn up, whether it’s in All Saints or any other Parishes. Takeaway the freeness element and you’ll only have a handful of people attending. Fact!
What the ABLP are good at is blowing their own trumpet 🎺, but the proof in the pudding 🍮 is what other people say (outside of their ABLP clique), and not what they propagandise to the country.
I can’t wait for the results in ASW when the Honourable Harold Lovell returns to replace Anthony ‘Silver Man’ Smith.
We all know the Answer, but this Judas needs to answer this question truthfully for all to hear.
Will you be running as a independent or a Labor representative in the next general election?
Answer that question Anthony Judas.
@Brixtonian – Why people have to put their names and comments jack? Is every time you come here to talk you have quotations?
@Islanman26 – However he decides to run, it’s called democracy. Last I checked, we are a free country.
As a RESIDENT of the ASW, All saints bottom village to be particular. Since the Hon. Anthony Smith Jr was elected we have never seen him in our community, our roads are separating.. cracked up unleveled, trees are covering the roads, this community has had no change, absolutely no change, I can not believe such an article because it is false ! WAMP to behind the police station? Lewis Street? The road leading to Montrulla? The only change seen is in Sea view farm, like a farm ppl one he wants to look out for? It is not right for you to praise yourself and the people have never seen your face not once yet in the area…. Bring back Michael Browne, he was present, Mr Smith I truly feel like I’m in a constituency that has no representative.
@FC, with the utmost respect to you, I’m sick and tired of the members of the ABLP always talking about themselves and what they’ve done.
I always look out for what their independent recipients have to say about what they’ve supposed to have achieved; and normally their are no quotes to back up these politicians work.
@FC, if you can’t see it, many others will…
…and @Why lie? Seems to support what I’m saying!
If I were a fence sitter, i couldn’t make a mistake and vote for this lowdown, dishonest ALP; especially where the Judas is busy doing what he does best. Previously, he cried that he was unable to get assistance for his constituency from the government, and in a blink, they have formed a protective ring around him after he displayed his competence in cheating. Can he or they be trusted? The electorates of All Saints West need to rubbish him. There’s nothing positive that he can impart to the youths.
Most people love feebes, it’s a human personality flaw…
Not me though!
I see a long of people.
I ask what’s up?
They giving free Pepsi..
I keep waking..
Waiting in long line hot sun for a free litre
Of soda!
No way..
I keep on Monday.
But most people, they wait in the sun in the rain even in the cold for freebes🤣
Why?
Because it’s free!!
You will always have a crowd cause
It’s free!
Food for thought 🤔
Who wrire this drivel his PR Rep J Fruity?
