The Government of the Republic of Serbia is offering ten (10) scholarships to students from Antigua and Barbuda to pursue first degrees, master’s degrees, specialist, and doctoral studies as part of the “The World in Serbia” program.
The scholarship includes:
- temporary residence visa;
- validation of high school/university documents;
- paid costs of Serbian language courses (online and intensive courses once students arrive to Serbia) and selected studies;
- paid accommodation and meals in the student standard facilities;
- health insurance for the students 26 years old and younger and;
- monthly scholarship of 15,000 RSD.
This scholarship does not include travel expenses to and from the Republic of Serbia, the costs of public transportation, textbooks, and work materials during studies.

The email address for the scholarships is a Gmail account? Looks fishy. Is this scholarship program being offered through the government of Antigua? It is odd to have a scholarship program with a Gmail address. Careful this is not a scam where you send in an email showing interest in the scholarships and then they reply telling you there is an application fee of $5,000 or $10,000. Then you find out later there are no scholarships at all and you do not get your money back. The Gmail address is very fishy and smells bad. Scholarships like this are nearly always offered through the Antigua government.
