The all-inclusive Curtain Bluff resort in Antigua will undergo a multimillion renovation this summer. Work will begin when the resort closes for the season on July 29 and is slated to be completed by the time it reopens on Oct. 21.

Two of the hotel’s Hulford Collection Suites (the Morris & Grace Bay Pool suites) and a selection of junior suites will go through a complete refurbishment, resulting in brighter and more modernized units.

Curtain Bluff will also expand its wellness area by doubling the size of its gym and adding a standalone yoga pavilion, where resort instructors will offer daily classes or where guests can practice yoga on their own.

The facility, which will face the Caribbean, will also add an infinity pool and Jacuzzi.

“From breathtaking new room designs to revitalized amenities and facilities, every aspect of the resort has been carefully crafted to create a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation,” said Rob Sherman, managing director at Curtain Bluff.

The resort, which opened in 1962, offers two restaurants, 18 deluxe rooms, 40 junior suites, five Bluff Rooms, five One-Bedroom Bluff Suites and four Hulford Collection suites; the Hulford suites include a private pool on the terrace overlooking the sea.

The resort went through a $13 million refurbishment in 2017.

Upon reopening, resort rates will start at $1,050 per night.
