The Marijuana Review Committee, under the Ministry of Social and Urban Transformation, is in the final stages of gathering data for its research on the effects of marijuana following its decriminalisation.
Chaired by Dr. Kwasi K. Tonge of the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus, the Committee has collected data through surveys and focus group discussions to assess public perception of marijuana use.
The study aims to reflect the views of a wide cross-section of society, including the general public, students, healthcare professionals, educators, members of the sacramental community, and organised groups.
The Committee sincerely thanks all who have participated thus far and reminds the public that the survey will conclude this Saturday, 26th April 2025.
Your input is vital to shaping the national dialogue on marijuana and influencing future policy decisions.
To share your views, scan the QR code to access the survey.
We encourage everyone to take part and invite you to help spread the word through your networks and media platforms to ensure every voice is heard.
