Arriving Passengers who have invalid test results or show signs of illness may be required to take a PCR test on arrival (at a cost of USD $50 for nationals; USD $100 for non-nationals), quarantine for 48 hours while they await their results. Also, travelers who are not staying at an approved/certified accommodation may be required to quarantine.

Complete a Health Declaration form (provided on plane), to be shared with Health Authorities on your arrival at the V.C Bird International Airport.

  1. Countries around the world allow their citizens to go back home with or without being vaccinated. Only the idiot morons in the current govt prevent their own people from coming back home. The govt needs to be sued for stopping Antiguan citizens from coming back home. Without citizens and their tax dollars, there is no govt.

Vote all the clowns out. Only vote for new candidates and those who have no shit history politics. That goes for all political parties. Only then can we move forward.

    • @ Antigua Shit Govt even the U.S. is not doing that to it’s citizens or green card holders.
Don’t understand for the life of me how that’s legal. Here in U.S.my brother who’s a Doctor said his friend took the vaccine because of a mandate, fell terribly ill including numerological problems.
Too sick to work, can’t sue anyone and lost the the very same job they’ were trying to save.
He can take all vaccines and stick it where the sun don’t shine . I have zero respect for that big head Narcissist, Dictator, Self enricher absolutely zero.

      • The opposition party and leadership in Antigua is so weak, it is damn time they go out and protest against all these mandates , unvaccinated citizens and residents must be able to take a test and return home .These ineffective experimental vaccines only cannot end the pandemic , why the reluctance to discuss natural immunity?what about alternative treatment?people with natural immunity could be the key to ending the pandemic and not this irresponsible mass vaccination campaign only creating more chaos . Not even with 90 or 100% vaccination will take you to herd immunity as long as the vaccinated are still spreading the virus .

  2. They keep changing the requirements. I’m a national that just returned today and my husband and I was cleared fully because of being vaccinated and had negative PCR test but was told by the officials at V.C Airport that my 2 year old daughter has to be quarantined for 14 days because we didn’t have a test done on her. The guidelines clearly states that kids under five years of age do not need to be tested. So I told the lady had I know my child had to be quarantined I would have just done the test before she came. Then I asked them who is going to take care of my kid while we do business and they told us blatantly that’s not their problem. Can anyone give me guidance on how to proceed with this issue?

  3. This guideline is confusing. You “must” test on Tuesday if travelling on Saturday, ie four days before, or you “may” test on Tuesday? Can you do a rapid test anytime in the 4 day window??

  4. The government needs to take a stand of all those civil servants whom after the mandatory vacation was issued took one jab and have become eligible for their second and have refused to take it. Lots of teachers are included in this group snd are putting our children at risk .

  5. If the day you arrive is considered the 4th day for testing doesn’t that mean that wed is the day to get tested if arrival is sat ( not Tues) as stated? Very confusing

  6. 31ST DECEMBER, 2021 PCR TESTS WILL NO LONGER BE THE SO CALLED GOLD STANDARD.

YOU JUST CANNOT MAKE THIS STUFF UP

  7. As a born Antiguan..if I had a parent who fell ill and I was barred from returning to the land of my birth because of a vaccine mandate I would sue Gaston and the entire Antiguan government, personally and in their official capacity, to the highest court in the commonwealth!

It’s your birthright and I am shocked that no member of the legal fraternity nor the opposition has raised any objections to these mandates imposed on citizens of the state … I am not saying you should not be vax it’s your choice ,but a nation cannot barr its citizens from entry especially if they can prove to be NOT INFECTED..

MONKEY KNOW WHAT TREE TO CLIMB

  8. @ Frankly you're frankly an idiot This why Gaston can ban Nationals from coming home because of Buffon's like you who keek recirculating the bullshit. @ Frankly you're frankly an idiot This why Gaston can ban Nationals from coming home because of Buffon's like you who keek recirculating the bullshit.

@ Frankly Speaking. You sound like and ass can you not read at least to educate yourself before hitting the send button and sounding like a fool?
And how exactly are the teachers putting the children at risk when both vaccinated and unvaccinated can get Covid equally .
It doesn’t protect you from getting it
    The difference is recovery
