Public Market Opens Today Between 7am And Noon

Residents looking to purchase fresh farm produce are reminded that the Public Market will be open for business tomorrow, Saturday, April 4, from 7 am until 12 noon, only.

However, the usual crowding is expected to be replaced by social-distancing protocols, a source from the Farmers Forum is reminding shoppers.

If these are not followed, the Government will be forced to apply different rules, the NEOC reportedly warns.

Meanwhile, farmers, themselves, are advised that the hours in which they can operate their farms daily have been adjusted to 4 am to 6 pm, according to the NEOC, and they are also to observe the social-distancing regulations.

The public is also being reminded that only two adults per vehicle are permitted to operate during the curfew.
