Here is the proposed layout for the unpainted, low income model house that I shared. More pictures are available here.

These climate resilient properties will be constructed from reinforced concrete and steel.

A few may be unpainted and untiled to allow marginal applicants to qualify.

ABLP delivering for the people.

  1. THANK GOD, A govt with vision & compassion is creating a headway for a low income earner like me and my daughter who has just began working, to finally own a residential property & relieve of the rent. This will certainly empower us and create Independence at the same time….. GREAT INITIATIVE PM BROWNE .. We will now have a shelter that is now ours.

    • @Bluddy Bloke…the Nation needs sustainable communities with a #Mixed-Use Design, to include shopping, recreational facilities, mixed income.
Three level condo style designs with certain businesses on the first level, water storage underground, flat roofs(serves as community spaces), incorporate solar and wind, one and two bedrooms, rent or purchase. Proper trash recycling! Solar powered lighting and security. It allows for better sewage management to reduce run offs etc.

The future developments must also create empowering opportunities besides owning the property. Some will and can invest in small businesses, since, your home/property MUST not double as a place of business.

Such things as property management, maintenance, security etc will create employment.

Just don’t build houses. Plan a Self sustaining community.

  2. I bet you ppl will find creative ways knowing the property is theirs. Maybe some will use bamboo sticks, rug instead of tiles, tiles instead of paint

Gimme one, I wanna be able to bring out my creative side

Who beg, nah get and who nah beg, nah want
