  1. My sincere condolences to his family. He was a friend I always could bounce off my labour relation issues. I didn’t see eye to eye on many of his advice but followed them regardless.
Rest in peace my friend. And may your family find solace and strength in the Lord our God in these tough times.

  2. My sincere condolences to the family of Dr. Austin Josiah, my mentor and advisor. He was always there for me even when I was thousands of miles away. I stand in awe of his leadership. I had the privilege of working with him, and his support guided me to become the educator that I am today. He was the BEST principal ever. He lead with passion, love, and fairness. He never allowed his religious views to cloud his wisdom as a school leader. I enjoyed working with him, and it was my pleasure to be his friend all these years. We spoke a few days ago as he was so happy to celebrate my achievements as an educator, encouraging me to “know the contract and no one can break me”. Thank God we got a chance to talk and laugh recently.
May his soul Rest in Peace!

    • Rest in Peace Dr

The public service commission should honor him by trying from today onwards, to make FAIR & JUST decisions

  3. Truly a well rounded son of the soil. Whether it was at the Ministry of Education or the Labour Ministry, he was very active, outspoken and assertive. Assertive people are sincere and authentic because they can express their feelings, thoughts, and opinions. They don’t withhold what’s on their minds for fear of hurting someone else or being called out as wrong. They can be forthcoming in a way that is mature and genuine. That was Dr. Austin Josiah!
