Significant progress has been made on Phase One of the preparatory work for the new public cemetery at Tomlinson’s, a joint initiative of the health and works ministries.

Minister Maria Bird-Browne updated on Facebook, sharing workers installing the perimeter fence.

The work is ongoing seven days a week, aiming for swift completion. Sen. Rawdon Turner, Executive Chairman of the National Housing and Urban Renewal and Development Company, highlighted the interior roads’ development, along with plans for parking, a manager’s office, and public bathrooms.

Solar lights will ensure 24/7 illumination, using renewable energy.

The government prioritizes timely completion due to limited burial spaces at St. John’s cemetery.

Sickening… he must be the God

  2. Lol cemetery and xpz looking to be finished about the same time 😂. Waiting to see dem duppy run cross the road.

  3. The completion of the cemetery is long over due……

If ” Promise made & promise kept ” is the main mantra of the Labour party then show the populace that it is not a bag of hot air been puffed out.

  4. Is this the best that 2.16 million can produce? They have been warned about using that sight for a cemetery, but Molwyn Joseph is too conceited, arrogant and bad-minded to ever really listen to anyone. This is why this man is such a failure.
A better site with more land space was researched and soil testing etc. done. Of course, anything started by UPP will always be allowed to go to ruin when ALP gets wind of it.
This is unacceptable for a growing population with no vision for the future. We can expect no better from these clowns
