After extensive discussions with officials within the Ministry of Public Safety, Technicians and the Administrators of Her Majesty’s Prison, it was decided that normal prison operations to include visitations to the prison and delivery of personal hygienic items for inmates will resume from Monday 29th June 2020.
There must however be, strict adherence to safety protocols, to include wearing of masks, washing and or sanitizing of hands and social distancing.
In addition to gangs being permitted to work on the prison farm,gangs involved in social programs such as the Happi program will be allowed to resume their activities, under strict supervision whilst adhering to all established protocols.
Members of the general public who wish to visit the prison, be they family, friends or associates of inmates are encouraged to call the office of the prison superintendent for further information and guidance at 4620503.
