Jamale Pringle, the Member of Parliament for All Saints East and St. Luke, says he is now focused on expanding his lead and recapturing the over 900 voters his Party lost at the last general elections.
That constituency has been a United Progressive Party (UPP) stronghold for years, and previous margins of victory have been in the hundreds. However, newcomer Pringle won by a very small majority in the 2018 polls.
Accordingly, the incumbent says he has been working hard for his constituents, and he is confident he will reclaim the votes lost, since his campaign is not focused only on winning.
While Pringle does not know, for certain, who his opponent will be, he has no doubt that he will reclaim the seat for the UPP.
Several persons have expressed an interest in contesting that constituency on the Antigua Labour Party ticket. However, Prime Minister Gaston Browne has said that, based on polls, Colin James is the preferred candidate.

Do you really believe that Pringle can represent Wadadli in any regional or international forum’s? Did not the present PM have done so on many occasions. Interestingly, the Caribbean and the world recognized his vision, forthrightness and intellect. We can differ politically but dumbing our people are not in the best interest of ourselves.
