The Prime Minister lauded Joseph’s impressive mobilization and outreach efforts, which he observed firsthand during Labour Day celebrations.

“Comrade Michael Joseph has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment. The type of mobilization that I saw on Labour Day coming out of Rural West leaves me with no doubt that he’s going to win that seat,” Browne stated.CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATS APP GROUP

However, he also cautioned Joseph not to become complacent despite the early signs of strong community support.

Browne highlighted that Joseph’s representation and engagement with the community have been unparalleled, even outshining other candidates, including himself.

“His outreach has been extremely strong, and I would say easily that he had the best representation of all candidates during the celebrations, including myself,” he added.

The Prime Minister’s remarks underscore the ABLP’s strategy to regain control over key constituencies, including Rural West, currently held by incumbent Richard Lewis.

Browne expressed optimism that Joseph’s dynamic approach and leadership qualities would lead to a victory, setting a high standard for other candidates within the party.

As the political landscape heats up, Browne’s endorsement of Joseph is seen as a significant boost, signaling the ABLP’s focus on rejuvenating its ranks with new and capable leaders who can connect with and mobilize the electorate effectively.

The party hopes that by the next Labour Day, even more supporters will rally, reflecting growing enthusiasm for their candidates and platform.

  1. @ Gaston Brown/ Michael Joseph

He will win the Rural West seat just as you promised you would have won ALL 17 seats in January 2023.
You are an empty vessel that MAKES A LOT OF NOISE. Antiguans have sussed you out, always trying to patronising us as though we are as dumb as your minions.
Your care-taker needs to seek counselling and restraint from his abuse of women.

  2. The Honourable Richard Lewis has really got under the skin of Gaston Browne (especially after pulling him up in Parliament recently about the FOI act), so much so, that he’s now talking utter gibberish about winning Rural West.

Sadly, we now live in an IDIOCRACY, with a chief IDIOT in charge. 🥸

    Roll on 2028 …

    • You are correct:
It’s a IDIOCRACY, with a chief IDIOT in charge.

Unfortunately most don’t know what is a democracy.

Many think that simply going to the polls and cast their vote uninhibited; as well as calling it a Parliamentary democracy, is what makes the political system a democracy.

So long as this idiotic thinking continues to persist; we live in as you say an IDIOCRACY.

  3. Bringing people out for free cool-aide and chicken to party on the beach is the reason why Gaston The Chief Idiot is so confident his Candidate will win in the next City West election.

That’s how leadership is measured: bringing people out for free food beer at the beach party.

    • I hear you @ Casual Observer, it just beggars belief how the temptation of food, 🍱 alcohol 🍺 and dancing 🤼🏾‍♂️ offered by the ABLP continually works on so many Antiguans.

      WHAT IS WRONG WITH US?

The government has used ham 🍖 and turkey 🍗around Christmas time; Political Fetes (normally paid twice by the tax-payer, and then by attendees); and never forget the free KFC food🍟🍗🍗 🥤packages that were offered in exchange for taking the Covid-19 quaxines.

AGAIN, WHAT IS WRONG WITH US?

      • What’s wrong with us is a very long story.
We lost the fights against our enemies who marched across Africa to the shoreline and sold us to the Europeans buccaneers who represented the same families who worked us abused us and stole our wages for 300 years.
These are same people from whom we accept a BS designation call Knighthood.
These same people who gave us a rubber stamped document called the Constitution.
We have no intellectual class who discusses and debates our conundrum. That is among the things wrong with us.
What’s wrong with us? We live in a theocracy filled with idiocies that we consider our governing principles.
A boilerplate outdated Constitution that enables corruption and will never be reformed until the politicians get their knighthoods
The buccaneers who bought us and sold us are here again under the title of expatriates.
They hare taken control of our economy while the Chief Idiot shouts about GMP which is meaningless when the economics growth is only in the hands of a few. Sail week is one such example
A place where the Chief Idiot boasts of his deficient mental health; while unconsciously boast that he stole the election;, and the Electoral Commission, the Police, Prosecutors and the AG takes a business as usual response. No one lifts a finger to investigate or make any further inquiries.

      • My Brother BRIXTONIAN……You cannot hide your emotions anymore, I have never met anyone who is either in love or hate / jealous Hon. Gaston Browne more than you. You replied to Hon. Gaston Browne postings with such venom.

        • You call it “venon” @ FARCE, but many of us now recognise that Antigua & Barbuda deserves much better leadership.

CAN’T THE ABLP FIND SOMEONE MORE SUITABLE TO LEAD THE COUNTRY?

Do you honestly believe Gaston Browne is the best we can do?

Here’s my example (I’m magnificent at examples 😁), just to prove to you it’s not venom.

There are 4 MAIN economic indicators that shows whether or not a country is doing well:

          1. Educational attainment
          2. Employment and a decent living wage
          3. Decent housing
          4. Security (borders & crime)

@ FARCE, using the above criteria, Antigua & Barbuda is definitely on the economical “sick bed”, due to the inactions and negligence of the current incumbents, led by the woeful Gaston Browne.

I’ve replaced your so-called venom with facts!
Now try and respond to what I’ve actually said …

          YOU GUYS NEVER DO!

        • … and your comrade Gaston Browne keeps insisting that Antigua & Barbuda is an economic powerhouse. Please!

Come on @ FARCE, wake-up nah!!!

  4. Richard Lewis is one term Member of Parliament. Mr. Joseph will kick His ass 2028
