  1. Why is he going to China? Who is paying for his trip? I thought Antigua was desperate for money, thus the 2% increase in taxes. Is he going to beg China for money? Is he selling off what little land is left in Antigua and Barbuda? Details please.

  2. Going, going, gone. Now coming to visit, the Chinese Begger, to see and meet the new Colonizers of Antigua not Barbuda. I wondered how many are going on that trip.Is Poodle George going on that trip?

  3. That’s about the sum of this man’s tenure as PM. Large per diem and nothing to show.
In civilized nations, not only are the travels made public, but the purpose of the visit and a press conference upon returning to explain what transpired.
No wait! I forgot. This government is the epitome of lies, secrecy, empty promises and not much of anything.

  4. @Antigua
When you owe the bank for your mortgage or car note; as a valuable customer they invite you in to find out how you intend to take care of your debt.
Our primary value is the monstrously high fence structure we allowed known as the Chinese Embassy.

Take notice it’s the Chinese doing the invitation, without a reason for the visit. The debts are overdue The Chinese need to start taking over assets if they don’t get paid.

If this trip was for any other reasons it would be made public.

Watch out for the BS reason given later

  5. @CountryMan Abroad, maybe that’s the reason the PM is trying to collect revenue where every he can get it. To pay the country’s debt to China. But we all know he is in over his head. Hopefully Antigua will still belong to Antiguans when he returns and not the Republic of China.

  6. MEK HIM STAY OUT DEY, AND PUT DARYL MATTHEW’S IN CHARGE UNTIL UPP RUN TINGS IN 2028.

MATTHEW’S CANNOT BE ANY WORSE, CAN HE? 🤔

  7. That brilliant leader was going to borrow Antigua and Barbuda out of DEBT. I am still awaiting that Arithmetic formula.Gaston Browne, I am still waiting. Go on RUM SHOP RADIO and tell us.

  8. @Antiguan.
Bad news! Antigua has already been sold out, lock stock and barrel. All looks calm on the surface but dig deeper and you will soon find out. Why would China invite an insignificant entity to its country? Two things come to mind.
    1. China is calling in its chips for late or non payment of debt, or
    2. They want payback for support in their ongoing spat with USA over Taiwan.
PM Browne is caught between a rock and a hard place; support China and USA will apply pressure to his neck (very unpleasant ) or support USA and China will pull the plug on Antigua. This is not rum shop radio stuff, this is serious business for grown-ups and mature politicians. PM Browne is nowhere near in that category. Go figure the rest.

  9. Excellent points @ CountryMan Abroad @Antiguan @Oversee. Good to know there are still a few good men around to see through the BS.
Antigua and Barbuda is in dire straights as more and more evidence unravels, unveiling the corruption that permeates our government and society.
I am unclear about one crucial point. Was GBC in this condition in 2017 when the 1 million US was deposited there as directed by Gaston Browne? It seems to me that the minions are missing this point. Gaston Browne is in the middle of almost all of the questionable revelations. Was it not him in the middle of the Choksi kidnapping? the Oderbreth scandal? now this? There are rumors that he met Backman Fried in the Bahamas before the FTX scandal broke.
    School children say. We wait
