In his New Year address, Prime Minister Gaston Browne expressed concern over the escalating youth violence, noting its adverse impact on social and economic progress.

He emphasized the collective responsibility to channel the youth’s energy towards disciplined pursuits for a better life.

Urging residents to promote education and job opportunities, Browne advocated using honest earnings for property ownership and contributions to families and the nation.

Encouraging positive activities, the government is investing in education, scholarships, and a multimillion-dollar Entrepreneurial Development Fund.

Browne called for immediate intervention by all stakeholders, highlighting the ongoing efforts to create employment and prosperity by 2024.

    As long as the cops remain compromised, and unemployment continues to skyrocket, and you continue to burden the poor to mask your incompetence and mismanagement of the country’s finances, you can talk all you want. It will just get worst.

  3. Being a bad boy is the order of the day. It’s a way of boosting one’s self esteem. To curb the youth violence our penal system needs to be more drastic. Our police presence need to established more & a lot random searches should be done through the day.
