The Kiwanis Club of St. John’s Antigua in celebration of its 21st anniversary announces the 2nd Everett Lake Scholarship Fund. Ten (10) primary school students will benefit from this needs based initiative whereby each recipient will benefit from up to 500.00 in school supplies.
The scholarship is designed to target students whose parents/guardian face difficult economic circumstances and are not able to provide their young children with the basic supplies for the academic year. Application forms are available from churches, health clinics or any member of the Kiwanis Club of St. John’s Antigua.

The Scholarship program which was inaugurated in 2017 was the highlight of the Club’s 20th anniversary celebrations. Based on the feedback of the positive impact for the recipients, the Club has extended the program for another year and invite applications.
The deadline for submission of applications is August 24, 2017. It is intended that the Everett Lake Scholarship for primary school students will be an annual affair with the potential to expand based on the availability of resources. Proceeds from fundraising projects inclusive of our annual High Tea at the Dockyard, go towards the Scholarship initiative alongside other community projects.
