The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) estimates that the Potworks Reservoir currently contains enough water to sustain distribution for approximately four to five months.
As of Friday, October 17, the staff gauge at the facility recorded 12 feet of water. The Water Business Unit reported that about one million imperial gallons are being supplied daily to customers across the network.
APUA said it remains optimistic that continued rainfall and runoff from the Liberta and All Saints areas will further boost the reservoir’s capacity in the coming days.
