Potters Village is mourning the loss of Genevieve “Teacher Gen” Smith, a beloved educator and community pillar who spent more than four decades shaping young minds.
Smith, widely respected for her devotion to children—including those with special needs—also fostered 63 youngsters, leaving a lasting impact on families across the community.
An annual scholarship at Potters Primary School was launched in her honour in January 2024 to recognise outstanding male and female students, the most improved student, and the student most in need.
Potters Village and the Potters Zion Moravian Church have expressed deep sorrow at her passing. Antigua.news extends condolences to her family and all who were touched by her life.
