Potential Development in Focus as Two Low Pressure Systems Loom in the east-central tropical Atlantic

0

NHC – The National Hurricane Center is closely monitoring two potential low pressure systems in the Atlantic.

The first, located between the Cabo Verde Islands and Africa’s west coast, could develop over the coming days.

Slow west-northwestward movement is expected, with a slight chance of formation within the next 48 hours.

Over a 7-day period, the likelihood of development remains at 20 percent.

Meanwhile, a second low pressure area might form southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands later this week.

Forecasters anticipate slow development as it moves west-northwestward.

Both systems are being closely observed for any further developments.
