  1. Any PM that delays the election beyond the due date is scared and desperate. He is also delusional if he thinks they will win 17 seats. Samantha, Weston, Jonas and quite a few others are dead ducks.

    • Very, very, very interesting. If the Prime Minister and the ALP is so confident of not only winning the next general elections but winning all 17 seats, then why is he so hesitant to call the date. Absolutely paradoxical.

    • Apparently we don’t know that elections are constitutionally due 2023. HMMM!!

  2. Guess y’all don’t know political tactics because PM Brown. Ain’t going to call that election during the grace period. He is going to do so when the opposition is on its lowest.

  3. This is an accurate prediction. The UPP has presented a slate of incompetent dunce elements who lack leadership, experience and can barely articulate themselves. Governance is serious business and the people of Antigua and Barbuda know better than to entrust our future to individuals whose only achievements are playing football, selling ice cream, and talking on the radio. When UPP presents a leader who can actually win his seat, maybe we will take them seriously then.

    • The dunce elements are within your party, which is why investors continually get to take the country to the cleaners under their watch, like the latest Barret deal, for jolly Beach.

Notice that one of the questions submitted to poor Bedford to ask last night during that sham interview, was not about the jolly Beach agreement, Yida or the other so call special economic zone?

  4. Why this man don’t go and focus on reviving his 26 failed projects and over a dozen ground fakings? He has fooled the people a few times before but he is the Caribbean’s biggest failure. His mouth is his biggest enemy. Government by headlines. Gaston’s sh$& is old!

  5. Gaston Browne, visits the ABLP political mouth piece the ABS, and relates to them that there’s a possibility of an 90 day extension before calling the next General Election.

He then goes on to say that the ABLP are on course to win all 17 seats without telling the watching electorate his source, facts or data, so that intelligent and critical thinking people can make up their own minds for themselves, to see whether or not our Prime Minister is telling us the truth.

HERE’S A SOLUTION CITIZENS OF ANTIGUA:

WE NEED TO CALL OUT THE MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS WHO WEAR THOSE LONG WHITE COATS, AND LET THEM MAKE AN EVALUATION OF THE PM’S MENTAL CURRENT HEALTH TO CHECK THAT HE’S OK …

Gaston Browne now seems to me to be somewhat *DELUSIONAL and has obviously gone – as the English would say – **DOOLALLY, and maybe DERANGED in his current mindset.

From a very concerned Antiguan electorate …

*Delusional meaning: Idiosyncratic beliefs or impressions that are contradicted by REALITY or RATIONAL argument.

** Doolally meaning: temporary deranged or feeble of mind.

  6. PM. Mia Motley was no different, the polls showed her winning all seats and she did. Why shouldn’t PM Gaston Browne not be confident.
He said he was calling election when he could be assured he’d win ALL 17 seats. He said he wants ALL seats.
The Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party has worked hard and deserves to be rehired for another 5 years.
The thought of calling Serpent Honorable leaves my stomach churning and nauseous. How about Honorable Peter Reds, what position in government would he be assigned? Are people seriously thinking this election cycle through and the ramifications placing your X for a person who has no skill set for managing their own personal lives but entrusting and giving them the opportunity to manage our country. WAKE UP. We just can’t afford another 5 years of UPP.

    • @Coming Down. Gaston Browne is NO Mia Mottley. Please do not insult Mia by comparing her to Gaston. He cannot shine her shoes. He is not in her class.

      • I concur @ Terraforms, I pray that one day Antigua will find a strong and upstanding leader like Mia Mottley who puts her country first, before any self interest.

I firmly believe that we have such a leader somewhere on the island, but yet to be discovered. He or she will eventually come to the forefront of Antiguan politics – hopefully, sooner rather than later.

However, that’s for the future … I HAVE A DREAM!

    • “Why shouldn’t PM Gaston Browne not be confident …”

Again, here’s what you’ve failed to mention @ Coming Down, that there’s clear evidence from the exit polls showing the Bajans wanting a change of governance – just like we are currently seeing with Antiguans.

GASTON BROWNE IS JUST SECOND GUESSING AT PRESENT!

Here’s the proof from the Bajans:

      http://barbadostoday.bb/2021/12/29/bajans-have-say-on-early-poll/

All we want is, that when our Prime Minister is telling us that the ABLP has a 17 seat poll lead to just show us the evidence/polls/or data. Simple really @ Coming Down!

    • @ Coming DOWN So, when a getting my pension. ABLP have me suffering and bawling and you expect me to give them another CHANCE! My friend and her children were gassed last August and you expect me to give ABLP another chance!
National pastime of Antigua is going to the standpipe with big bottles to get water, and you expect me to give ABLP another chance,
ABLP got 2 chances and they messed up. In fact, they messed up bad, and you expect me to give ABLP another CHANCE.
HELL NO! ABLP HAS GOT TO GO!
GASTON HURRY UP AND CALL THE ELECTION!

  7. My polls have been showing the same results over the past few months as Hon. Gaston Browne.

    ABLP. ALL 17 SEATS

UPP. 00 SEAT ( 12 UPP CANDIDATES LOSE DEPOSITS )

DNA. 00 SEAT ( ALL CANDIDATES LOSE DEPOSITS)

    BARBUDA. 00 SEAT.

    TOTAL LANDSLIDE VICTORY FOR ABLP.

BRIXTONIAN , CHARLES TABOR and Others TEK DAT.

    • OK @ ERIC (THE CONFUSED), according to your post you’ve seen Gaston Browne’s polling figures where he has this 17 seat landslide.

Can you send the link for the inquisitive amongst us, so we cannot accuse you of being economical with the truth?

OR SIMPLY PUT, YOUR JUST LYING AGAIN!!!

Please prove me wrong – pretty please.

      Much appreciated boss … 👍

  8. This PM want some men put something in his mouth to shut him up.
Let him keep vomiting up all this nonsense.

  9. My poll is telling me not 17 seats. His party will win yes but not 17 seats. The UPP candidates who are going to win their seats are as follows. (1) Richard Lewis, (2) Jonathan Joseph (3) let’s say for argument sake Pringle. If the ALP Candidate in that constituency work hard they can take home that seat and I am struggling to find a third.

  10. So little johnny, tell us, when was your poll conducted and what was the sample, don’t forget to include the reputable institution that conducted your so-called poll

  11. Who did the poll, lady Wickham? If he so confident like Michell was in Grenada, why he talking about June next for elections?

Tell him to tell his people like Ivor Ford and Sancho on the boundaries commission, to hurry up with their report, so he can table in parliament then call the election, because we know no boundaries will be changed.

  12. Wow 😳 wow wow Eric I like your post you are consistant I respect that do you know that history will create in the Caribbean that two of our leaders will be going to the Haig for crime against humanity does the name Choski ring a bell the PM GB and DA PM I am smiling He said that Asot can’t run on his ticket Sure but I am positive that he can’t participate in our elections Are you following the US representative visit to Antigua with the meeting with the Antigua Workers Union you don’t find it strange the change is coming
