(3) A person who contravenes this act commits an offence and is liable on-

  1. I guess the person who had created the voice message don’t know about this active law.
I hope someone can recognize her voice.

  2. I dont think it’s a case where people are purposely misleading others..they are sharing from NEWS sources and some Newspapers on the internet..and its worst when they know they are not being told the full truth by those that should be telling them everything.

If there are (suspected) cases and you talk about it..all of a sudden you are told nothing is Confirmed and then all of a sudden few days in you heard people were quarantined..from when did this happen? Why wasn’t it mentioned the day after it happened? Or on the local news?

Now there is no freedom of speech..we are to wait until things happen like in Italy before we hear the truth of things.

We have eyes..we can see..hear something is going on..but it’s like whatever. If they arrest someone for sharing things about COVID, I hope you will arrest those that that person shared the news from and the person before that and the person before that.

Who do you determine did know it was a hoax and decided to share?

  3. There are several laws on the books but some are not enforced….. Sad!! Both police & civilians are guilty of breaching some these laws….. It is all well & good that we are reminded about these laws but putting into effect will serve the nation better….. Sometimes it appears that the authorities are too complacent enforce the laws
