The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda will be celebrating its 52nd anniversary of Police Week from September 6th to 12th, 2020 under the theme: “Committed to Quality Service in a Global Pandemic.”

However, due to the current Pandemic, and in keeping with health regulations and other established protocols, most of this year’s abbreviated celebration will be done virtually.

The week starts off with the Regular and Fire Officers attending various church services in Antigua and Barbuda. The celebrations continue throughout the week with community outreach exercises, and police officers appearing on various media houses and social media.

In keeping with this year’s theme, Police Commissioner, Atlee Rodney is assuring the public of the continued commitment and dedication of his officers; as they work towards building better partnerships, and providing quality service to the people. He further expresses gratitude to the private sector and the citizenry of Antigua and Barbuda for supporting police week over the years.

The public is urged to continue partnering with the police in their efforts; while following all health and safety protocols under the State of Emergency.

I have to say truptz to you!!
Can tell you don’t have any respect for the Cops!
This annual event is good for the police force.
It is a good motivational factor and moral booster for the force.
Even a good percentage of the locals look forward to the police week activities.
I remember attending at least two of their drama plays in the 90’s at their Headquarter on American Road. That show was a big crown getter back then.
