Police Seize Quarter-Million Dollars’ Worth of Cannabis in Joint Drug-Interdiction Operation at Deep Water Harbour

Source Real News: Close to a quarter-million dollars’ worth of cannabis was seized by
the Police during a joint drug-interdiction exercise at the Deep Water Harbour on December 5.

Reports say that officers attached to the Narcotics Department went to the location at about 10:45 a.m. that day, and during the exercise – carried out with the Customs Enforcement Unit – a blue barrel with the illegal drug was found.

The barrel allegedly contained 40 pounds of the controlled drug cannabis, which carries an estimated street value of $240,000.

If herb was sticking up people we would not have no crime in Antigua, however mr. commissioner its the guns you need to focus on. Get up off you all ass and start to do some real detective work.   2. What I can’t understand is thatches items MUST be coming from someone, and to be picked up by someone. Why they dont trace the culprit who sent it, and wait for the person to collect it from the port? I don’t understand. I must be missing something

  3. Who would be arrested for this? There must be a postage and a return address on that package.The Police should contact their counterparts from the sender’s City.Then go after the addressee in Antigua.
