Police searching for white male after English Harbour stabbing

Police are investigating a stabbing which has left a man nursing neck wounds.

According to reports by the man’s friends, he was stabbed “in the neck with a broken bottle” at around 4 a.m on Saturday.

The man reportedly had emergency surgery.

They described the act as an “unprovoked attack” saying that it happened after the suspects threw drinks at the car he was in.

The incident allegedly took place near the Abras Night Club parking lot.

It is alleged that a white male in his late 20s, medium build, dark blond hair and approximately 5ft 10′ fled towards Nelson’s Dockyard after committing the act.

An appealing is being made for anyone with information about the man’s identity to contact the nearest police station.

Friends of the victim as also seeking information on any boats that have left today.

They have also warned against harboring criminals.

  1. I like the fact that ANR always has the latest news but I’d really appreciate it if they would take some time to read what they are writing before posting. The story above has “an appealing is being made”. Isn’t that supposed to be ” an appeal is being made” ?

    Good work though guys. I like not having to wait for today’s news in tomorrow’s newspaper.
