The police are searching for two male suspects involved in a supermarket robbery on Bendals road.
It was reported that around 8 pm on Thursday, 20 June, two men with their faces concealed and armed with firearms, entered the supermarket and robbed the owners of an undisclosed amount of money. Shots were fired during the incident; however, no one was injured. The suspects later fled the scene in a southern direction.
The police are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious person or have any information surrounding this incident to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call Crimestoppers at 800-Tips (8477).
The police are further advising business owners to exercise extra caution, especially during the closing hours of their businesses.

I am not sure what to say now to encourage law enforcement to try new strategies. We now know these kinds of crimes are occurring frequently, with this information, what innovative and practical strategies are we using?
The one called block new people and ideas, because we feel our job is being threatened or we look incompetent when being given advice.
I will be winding down on trying to help this country. I did my moral duty, I tried.
@helping Looks like your strategy was used here.

From the video it looks like someone (an employee?) fired at the criminals from the outside when they weren’t expecting it then they scrambled away. They might hesitate to try to rob that place again. It’s not a bad strategy except it make the situation a bit more volatile and unsafe if there are innocent passersby.

Man they just caught 3 last week and now more thieves take there place. So discouraged to hear this. Don’t know how these thieves don’t care to shame our island and home this way. This is not the country we want for ourselves or the optics we want to be seen given we are are tourist destination.
Shoot dem first and in their backs if needed then call police.
They can shoot you wherever and however they want but it’s illegal to shoot them in their back. Time for them to feel how it go. Fight fire with fire.
